Clean low pass filter I have been "cleaning" the low pass filter on my Nikon D70 by blowing off any debris with a blower brush. This doesn't seem to last very long so I end up with lots of clean-up work in photoshop. I've had it in some very humid locations and near salt water several times this year so I'm guessing it needs a much more thorough cleaning. Of course Nikon only recommends this be done by an authorized dealer. My local camera shop said it would take 6-8 weeks while they send it to their lab in another state and it would cost approx. $150. Yikes. I can't live without my camera for that long! So here's my question. Is it safe for me to clean it myself? And what are the best materials to use? I've seen a couple of old posts about this, but they are 3 years old. I'm betting things have changed since then. Thanks!
