D70 not letting me access menu options. So here it goes. My D70 will not let me access the "Optimize Image" or "White Balance" tabs. Instead of bieng in Bright white like every other tab in the menu that is accesible, they are a Light almost translucent grey. The camera just skips by them when I scroll through camera icon's section with has them in it.. That bieng said, HELP!

What exposure mode have you selected? The full auto modes do not allow customizing these functions. Optimize Image and White Balance can only be selected if shooting in P, A, S, M modes.

Your camera is probably set in auto mode which means those parameters are not selectable. You can choose those if you shoot in aperture priority,shutter priority, and manual

that would be the problem, was trying to fine tune the camera and didnt know it had to be on a certain mode to be adjusted.. Thanks guys.
