Digital Camera repairs
I have a Pentax IstD in which I managed to break off one of the pins in the Compact Flash slot. I have had to send the camera back to Pentax for (costly) repairs and was wondering, that since the SD cards do not have pins, is it possible or has anyone heard of a converter fro CF to SD.
In other words is there available on the market a gizmo that fits in a CF card slot and then takes an SD card.Thanks in advance

Yes, there are several makes of SD to CF adapters. I don't know, though, if they allow you to remove the SD card and leave the adapter in place in the camera.
