Photography Question

Olympus C5050z

My Olympus C5050z has been working flawlessly for years until recently. When taking photos, I see colored shadows in the LCD and when I take photos it appears that the camera has been drastically moved when shooting. My wife took it along on a recent trip back east so the camera went through airport security equipment, which it had many times before. I will attempt to attach an example of what the camera is doing. Any suggestions as to what might be the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Many manufacturers, including Olympus, have been issuing service advisories or recalls for cameras that have a defective CCD chip made by Sony. Your pic is typical of the failure. See this LINK for Oly's Service Advisory on the C-5050 and C-730, then contact Olympus Customer Service for repair.
