Lost images?
I did a shoot over the weekend with my two Nikon D70's and a D200. One of my camera's was on eof the first D70's and has some mileage on it. As I was shooting I noticed that the counter was nearing DSC_9999. OK No big deal, right? Well, I passed the 9999 mark, and went about 12 picures past it. Got home and only the pictures up to DSC_9999 were on the card. The rest were not there? Has this happened to anyone else? I really need the last 13 pictures on there too!

Are you sure they're not in a different folder on the card? Check it out carefully before you format the card.

Ditto what Chris wrote. After a picture numbered 9999, the camera creates a new folder and writes subsequent images to it. Per the manual (p. 157): "On the memory card, folder names are preceded by a three-digit folder number assigned automatically by the camera (e.g., 100ND70S). Each folder can contain up to 999 photographs. If a photograph is take when the current folder contains 999 files, or picture numbered 9999, the camera will create a new folder by adding 1 to the current folder number (e.g., 101ND70S). ..."
