What king of material?
OK!! I need some information on the typr of material to put over a continuous refletor flood lamp, to get the soft box effect? Any information would help.

Fireproof / flame retardant. I'd strongly recommend buying a softbox and appropriate hardware that's made for this purpose or switch to strobes. :>)

Just to add to the obvious, make sure the material is virgin white; if not, you will introduce color casts you';d rather not have. Also, the further the material is from the source light, the "softer" the light will be. Pete
