How to fix LED display I have a Canon AE1. Suddenly (after 23 years)the meter needle in the view finder constantly goes "south" below the scale regardless of how much light there is present and very slow shutter speed set. Same for both Auto and Manual modes. Solution? Thanks.

At the risk of being too obvious, have you checked the battery? Otherwise the meter has probably gone bad. Your call whether a repair is worthwhile versus replacing the camera or continuing to use it in manual with a separate light meter.
