I am having trouble with my camera; it shows me that the battery is low and yet I know it is freshly charged; several minutes after I get this "low battery" message or nearly empty icon, it will show the batteries as being at a higher level. This will happen over and over again until it shows the battery at it's highest charge.

What camera do you have and what kind of batteries do you use? Check to see if the battery contacts in your camera have any dirt or corrosion on them.
