I've never heard of that camera, so I did a search. Is that a cellphone camera?

Okay, I found it. This is a fairly basic camera, you don't have many controls to work with. The specs say that the effective range of the flash is 1.2 to 2 meters. That's a very narrow range. Any pictures taken closer than 1.2m will likely be overexposed. My next suggestion would be to adjust the Exposure Compensation to -1 or -2, but you may have tried that already. Another option would be to try diffusing the flash by taping some wax paper or parchment over it. This might help. Good luck. Cheers!
