Photography Question

How do I sync my new Studio lighting with the D70?

I just got a new set of Britek studio lights. I have two PS200s (one for a fill bounced off an umbrella and one for the back), an SM-200 for the hairlight and an HS-1000 with softbox for the Main.

I tried every setting in the book and that I could think of…nothing worked. I got all the strobes firing together when I pressed the shutter, but the only visible photo I got was turning the commander flash off and not triggering the strobes at all! The dim light from the strobe’s lamps (without the pop of the strobe itself) at a 1 second shutter at f3.2 gave me the best picture I got all night! That was still a very dark photo with VERY bad color.

HELP! Any suggestions??

WITH THE D70 TRY EITHER SETTING SP( SHUTTER PRIOITY) OR M (MANUAL) SET AT ISO 200/F 22
ALSO TO USE A SYNC CORD YOU WILL HAVE TO PURCHASE AS-15

THANKS!!! I thought the infra-red was enough to trigger. It DOES fire them, but not synched. I'll snap that up and rush it here! Should that alone solve my problem?
