Nikon 6006 technical issues

The Nikon 6006 SRL which I've recently bought from ebay, has four menu "pads". There are two, ISO mode, and BK function, which are not working. I'm mostly concerned for the Iso one, since I won't be able to overexpose and etc. It does sets the ISO of the film on the camera, bur I cannot change it. Is this only a malfunctioning of these "buttons", or may it be sth else? Can I repair it? Thank a lot, Lola

I'm certain you cannot fix it yourself, and it may be too costly for a repair shop to fix it.
Did you know these "pads" were not working before you bought it? Did the seller imply or state that the camera was in good working order, or state that there were functions that were not working? If not, I'd contact the seller, and make arrangements to send it back. If the seller refuses return, contact Ebay for assistance.

Found a user manual for the F601/N6006 at http://212.87.16.223/Nikon/body/F601/1.htm
The manually set ISO you 1st have to press the ISO/DX button and the Shift button simultaneously so that "DX" is not longer displayed. Then while holding the ISO button rotate the command dial to set the desired ISO.

I bought the camera with the manual included, and I was told it was everything in a good condition (its a 2001 camera...it should). However, I thought that the ISO control would change once I put a film on it. Or maybe if I changed the battery.Well. It didn´t. I won`t have any problems with returning it, but I can´t believe I'll have to. Actually, I'm Argentinian and cameras are so difficult to find here. I bought it for 400U$S with a 35-80 lens, wich is a great price. Nevermind, I`ll find another one. Thank you very much. Lola
