thank you for your response. what type of archival printer printer do you suggest? I already have a Epson 1280 and it is only a year old. Would it be safe to say that if I use Epson color life photo paper that the pictures that are printed have a good chance of not fading? I really don't want to go through the expense of another printer at this time.

  I Have Really Old Prints Printed On Epson Premium Glossy Paper With Nothing Happening To Them Yet! Keeping Them From Direct Sunlight Is A Good Thing:-)
The New Epson R1800 Is Archival Or Should I Say The Inks Are. Im Keeping My 1280 The Prints Should Outlast Me:-)
