The Half Roll Rewind My mom bought a Pentax Iq Zoom camera used and without a manual. The camera has an automatic half roll rewind, so when she has a 24 roll exposure, the camera rewinds automatically at 12 pictures and the other half goes to waste. Is there a way to shut the rewind off or some other way around the automatic half roll rewind?

Download the manual from Pentax USA, link. Automatically rewinding after 12 exposures does not sound like a normal feature. I'd guess something else, like a bad film-tension sensor.
