Calibrating Mac and PC monitors

My photography partner has a Mac laptop and I work with a PC. I often do the necessary adjustments on our photos (using Photoshop CS) and give them to him on cd's so that he can then take them to show clients. The problem is with the calibration of our monitors - the adjustments I do on my PC often look too contrasted and saturated on his monitor, and from the cd to printing often gives us results that are different from what we expected. Is there any way we can calibrate these two monitors to give us images that look more alike? And how do we get our prints to look more like what we see on our screen(s)? Many thanks to anyone who can help us out with this very frustrating problem!

Sharon: You can find a discussion of monitor calibration at

The topic includes other issues too (printing with an Epson 2200) but it gives you some tips on monitor calibration accessories. See http://www.colorvision.com/ for info on the products discussed.

Cheers!
