what does exposure and aperture settings mean i just acquired the camera an and therefore am a super novice. I find that the images provided by my clients are not really good and therefore my web sites suffer from sub standard images. I just acquired the Canon 3000v with the 90mm lens. I would like to know what the difference is in adjusting the aperture. Also in adjusting exposure levels. Lastly, what multiple exposures mean. The manual provided with the camera is too basic. Your help is greatly appreciated by me.

a quick basic explanation aperture is the adjustable opening inside the lens that regulates the amount of light that passes through. Like the bigger a window is, the more light it lets in. Adjusting exposure can be described in the context that with different light levels, such as early morning versus mid day, you need to adjust exposure with aperture size or shutter speed length to let in more light at a given instant, or let in light for a longer period of time. It can also be describe in the context of for a given light level, like all pictures taken at mid day, you adjust exposure for a certain effect. Such as if you wanted or needed to use a different shutter speed, you would need to make the appropriate change to the aperture to let in more light so you can use a faster shutter speed. Or to let in less light so you can use a slower shutter speed. All for the purpose of achieving the proper exposure on the film. You should be able to find several books that can explain the basics if you still find the manual not enough.
