Lighting brands I was looking at buying a small wireless set of strobe lights that I found online. The brand is "Fancier".some of the specs are: Output: 45 WS Power: 110V-50Hz / 60Hz Wire Back The Interval: 4-6 (sec.) Light Control the Distance: 12m Color temperature: 5500 - 6000K Flash synchronization: 1/800(sec.) Flash Lamp index GN ISO-100:26 Does anyone knows about this brand or is familiar with it enough to tell me if it's compatible with a nikon D40x and if it's worth the few dollars I'm spending on it?(since I'm totally a beginner and is for hobby)

I have done a google search and checked Ebay and have come up with no info on these. You would have to post a link.

seriously, I would stay away from these cheap types of lights. It does not look like you can change out the bulbs at all andno adjustments of any type. please take a look at the "Studio photography Threads" heres the link: http://www.betterphoto.com/forms/QnAdetail.php?threadID=17534 and if you email me I will send suggestions, but you'll find a lot of recommendations there on the thread. I do hope this helps,

HI Amanda, 45 watt-seconds is almost no light at all. This would probably a waste of money. It’s not how many attachments the tool has it is how it works, unless it is a Swiss army knife. Thanks, John Siskin

Thank you very much for all the help. I'm still looking so I'm sure I'll be asking much more questions on the brand or type of equipment I find.
