90 people Group Photography

I have a question:
I have been asigned to shoot the graduates of a high school, it is a group of about 90 students. It will be shoot in april-may next year so there will be no problem with weather, will have plenty of light. It will be shoot outdoors. I dont shoot film anymore, I have switched to digital, I work all the time doing weddings and portraits of 1 or 2 persons only. But now I have been asked to do this one. Doing some homework and remembering my photo classes, I will need at least a 6x7 medium format to shoot this assignment. I have never used a medium format camera for these purposes so I´d like some advice on doing it. I really want to give a good impression and deliver a great job. I still have plenty of time to practice. I´d like to know what type of lenses should I use. And if any artificial light is needed. thanks in advance.

Why would you need "at least a 6x7 medium format to shoot this assignment", Benjamin? What size print will you eventually need? Because you can print excellent, tacksharp 16x20" prints, or even bigger, from a 10mp digital file.
