lens adapters for canon eos 35 mm rebel t2


is there some kind of adapter for a vivitar 90-230 mm lens to a canon eos 35 mm rebel t 2 camera

  It depends on what lens mount the Vivitar lens was made for. Yes if it has Nikon, Pentax M42 screw mount, Contax/Yashica, or Canon FL/FD. It is possible to adapt Minolta MC/MD or Konica mount to Canon EOS cameras, but unlikely anyone ever made an adapter. No if it is Pentax's K mount.

  p.s.
I forgot to add the standard "even with an adapter it is rarely worth the bother." Use of the lens will be limited to Av and M exposure modes only, and even there metering is down by stop-down method - manual focus with the aperture wide open, then stop the aperture down to the desired setting to meter for the proper shutter speed.
