  Hey Andy !
Try this guy.
http://www.craigcamera.com/

If he hasn't got at least a reprint of the original AE-1 manual, he could likely tell you where to get one.

Take it light.
Mark

Manuals (online and downloadable .pdf) for most F- and A-series Canon cameras and accessories are available online at http://www.canonfd.com/choose.htm.

When you download your manual, make sure you've got plenty of ink & paper. A friend downloaded a manual for her camera an had to print out 62 pages.

Just a warning.

Thanks for the response guys. I am being told it will take 81 pages, YIKES !!!
As an addition anyone knows a good online course for photo essentials, I am starting from the basics; Jim Miotke would pass out if he read this.

Hi there, also I found this website useful http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/companies/canon/fdresources/SLRs/ae1pgrm/index.htm or also try bidding on ebay for a manual, there are always heaps around on there for very little, might save the ink.
