Practice. Read. Practice. Study good photos. Practice. As you can see, the main thing you need to do is practice. If you have any specific questions, ask and we will do our best to help you.

here is a question.... how can you make interesting photographs when there are overcast skies and cloudy and generally grey?

Hi Jacob, Overcast sky dosent necessarily mean a bad picture day. Use your eyes, look at whats around you. If it has just rained try using puddles of water as relectors of street lamps or street signs. Reflection makes for great photos. Give it a go.

Take advantage of the diffused light a cloudy, gray day has to offer. Just compose your shots carefully, to exclude as much of the dull-gray sky from the frame as possible.

Besides an overcast sky can be a photographert's best friend. LOOK DOWN! The beetle, the orchid, the pattern in the grass, no bright, direct sunlight leads to photos without harsh and disrtacting shadows. Kevin and Bob are dead on, as always. Take advantage of your days as they come and you will be much happier and productive in your photography. Chris Walrath
