How about Canon 24-70 Lens Is Canon 24-70 len just for Digital Camera. If I put it on film camera, what is the different? Compare with Canon 24-70 to 28-70, which is better color? which fits film camera more? Thanks!

All Canon EF lenses work on all film and digital EOS cameras. DSLRs with a smaller than 35mm film sized sensor (such as D30/D60/10D/20D/300D/350D), give a narrower angle of view with a given lens than does with the larger format. The differences: The EF 24-70 f/2.8L USM replaced the EF 28-70 f/2.8L USM. The new lens zooms to a wider angle (24mm instead of 28mm). It also was upgraded with dust/moisture seals and a new optical formula for better sharpness and slightly closer minimum focus (.38m v. .5m). But the 28-70 is a fine lens with pro-level performance/sharpness.

I've seen quite a bit of photos from the Canon 24-70 L lens. They've been great in my opinion. I wanted to get this lens so much especially for my digital but since it cost so much, I decided to go with the sigma version of it. I noticed while using it though that the view isn't as saturated or contrasty as when I used my other lens which is Canon "L." If you get the Canon 24-70, yes you can use it on any Canon cameras that say "EOS" and if it's a digital camera, the lens will seem to be more "zoomed in" than with a film camera.
