How to shoot multiple families outdoors I am shooting 8-10 people on a golf course about a 1/2 hour before sunset. I started wondering if my flash will suffice for fill & I want to make sure everyone will be in focus. I have a Nikon N60, shooting Portra 400 VC and I figured I'd use my Tamron 28-105MM 1:4-5.6 vs the Nikkor 35-80mm 1:4-5.6D or the Nikkor 70-300mm 1:4-5.6G. Is this the lense I should use? My flash is SB-50DX. Will this provide any fill? If not, any suggestions? I'm also not clear on focal length & aperature and usually shoot program or aperature priority. Manual exposure scares me! I believe I need a small aperature/large f#, correct? Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks.
