Photography Question

Justin G.

Question for my retro friends!

I would like to get a nice 67 camera. I'm looking at mamiya's rb & rz 67. do you guys know any basic differences between the two. I've glanced on the website and it says that most prisms and backs are interchangeable between the RB67 & the RZ67. Is this true to your knowledge? And any first hand experience with either of these cameras or 67 formats in general?? Thanks as always.

Justin

For the most part, they are not very different from each other. However, the RZ offers an optional AE prism finder while the RB only offers the optional manual metering prism finder. There are a few other refinements on the RZ but this is the major difference.

Man, my dream MF camera is an RZ67. If you can find one at a reasonable price, dude, go for it. And let me know if the camera has a sister . . .
