Excellent pictures. While I don't have 1st hand experience with this flashgun, the controls look pretty standard. On the back, the 2-position up/down switch chooses between manual (open circle) and auto flash exposure (orange dot). The three position switch to it's left selects Full, 1/2, 1/4 power in manual; or a Near (yellow), Normal (green), or Far (red) auto flash program. The usable ranges of the auto programs is read on the dial on the side. Re the dial on the side, I don't think there is any electronic connection, it is simply a guide to setting the appropriate aperture on the lens. Turn the outer dial to set the ISO of the film being used. Line it up with "S" (standard) on the bottom, or "W" if using a wide angle attachment on the flash head. Turn the inner dial to match the program setting selected. The picture shows it on the white full power mark. There may be yellow, green, and red dots corresponding to the auto programs, if not then the auto programs probably use the full power setting. If used in manual, set the lens aperture by finding the subject to flash distance in the outer ring and read the corresponding f/stop directly below it on the inner ring. When used in auto flash mode, set the aperture that is under the white dot in the colored auto program line - ie. the f/stop that is under 26ft/8m for the red program, 13ft/4m for the green program, and the f/stop under 7ft/2m for the yellow program.

Thanks! The inner dial only has the Manual settings (full white, 1/2, and 1/4. If I use the flash on auto, would I set the inner dial to the full dot in order to read the right f/stop for the subject distance? Or would I set the inner dial to the corresponding manual dot that is directly above the colored dot? Thanks for the great info!!!
