Colour Printing

I have been one that is resisting the trend towards digital and have upgraded my camera from 35mm to medium format 645. When I was younger I had a darkroom that did both B&W & colour. After several years absence from it I am getting back into it and made upgrades to it. Now if I remember correctly during the late 80's and early 90's there were chemistries available that were not dependent on temperature control. Plus if my memory is correct you could get them in kits and more effecient processes where the number of steps dropped from like 6 to 2. However looking for a colour chemistries it appears that the choice is severly limited and finding a suitable lab is difficult. Can anyone recommend a good colour chemistry for processing colour negatives and printing?
