I have not personlly sold any images via stock photo. Most frequent difficulties selling images through a stock agency will be the list of preferred photogs in line ahead of you. Also most stock agencies request you supply them with at least 200 images (quality-not snapshots) per month which means you'll need LOTS of free time. Third question you ask sounds like a loaded question, as in what are we being set up for? My reply would be if it means an honest way to earn huge sums of money, I would consider after I know ALL the details. I would NEVER ever sign my rights over to anyone. Main concerns would be distrust. I prefer to control how each and every image I create is used, and get paid up front before the fact as well as dealing with customers one on one. Stock photography is rarely a steady income

Tom says it very well on the third question, actually all of his answers. For the third question the problem is what is hype and what is fact. If you are purchasing a contract with someone on a new system/ method find out if you are only being paid for your final image or do they include time and expenses. Even with photoshop add-ons there are often simpler ways that always work and it would be a waste of money to purchase the new ones offered. Become an "Inquiring Mind"
