Charging tax


How do I charge sales tax for my images on my website?

  Wendy, just add the state sales tax from which you reside into the proper field. I'm assuming your setting up via PayPal?? (suggested mode of operation) You can list your prices on your BP webpage, and since its a product it is taxable. The sales tax will be generated automatically once your customer clicks on "Buy this photo" and then authorizes the final sale. Hope this helps ~ TS

  It is your responsibility to know the sales tax for your area and whether you pay it from your end, or charge the customer is up to you. Go to your home states department of revenue website and it will give you the information you need to know.
