Photography Question

photos for an exibit


I am trying to do a local exibit... I have to submit 6 photos... I want to do my shell photos... I have quit a few shell pics. that have made editors picks... could someone sugest if they think they are good enough and which ones they think would be good enough? they will be diplayed at a local library... also what are some tings I should include on my resume...

  Sherry, I suggest that you follow the instructions of the exhibit to the letter especially if the exhibition is juried. Most exhibits have guidelines for how the photos should be displayed, as to how the photos should be matted, what size the print should be, if the print is to be framed, etc. If you have several photos that have been chosen as editors picks, then I would think that they would be good enough to exhibit. Participating in exhibitions helps you to look at your work more closely and in a very different prespective. What have you got to lose? The worst that can happen is that you are not accepted; learn from the experience and try again. As far as the resume, I would write a brief bio about yourself and your photography experience; you could include where you have other photography prints displayed or where you have sold other work.
