Photography Question

Shannon Davis Brier

Sources for high quality prints, products

I am slowly moving from casual hobby to selling my work. I am looking for sources that others have used and trusted to produce high quality prints and things like greeting cards.

While just printing things for friends and such, I've used places like Ritz and Shutterfly, but I don't want their logo emblazoned on my work. And, it is a crapshoot as to how things will end up looking!

Thanks for any help,
sdb

I have been extremely pleased with ProLabExpress. Prices are good, customer service wonderful and print quality consistently excellent. For event photos and greeting cards, I use Exposure Manager, who also hosts my website. I get a lot of compliments on the 5x7 folded cards, the quality is outstanding.

I will definitely look into those sources. And, I wasn't expecting such a quick response.

Thank you so much.

  Hello Shannon,
I got a Zenfolio site who provides a site to show your images and will take orders, process, print (High quality MPIX prints) and ship them straight to your customers. The profits get credited to your account. You cab select the sizes, create specific pricelists, etc..
Look at my site - http://carltonward.zenfolio.com/

MPIX and Zenfolio for sure. I usually have my images back from MPIX in 3-4 days including the shipping time.
If you need same day service, check your local Costco, some of them do a great job on anything up to 12x18. You can download the printer profiles for the Costco nearest you.

Just for fun, I compared the same print sent to MPix, BayPhoto and Costco. There was no noticable difference in quality at all.

I like MPIX and I also have a Zenfolio account. I've been very happy with their processing.
