Anyone Selling Their Images on Microstock Sites? I'm just wondering if any of you are selling your images on microstock photography sites? I was introduced to the concept around 18 months ago, and since that time, I've had sales totalling nearly US$3000. For me, it's been great! I sell on the micros. I submit to about 7 different sites. I have made over $9,000 in just a little over 2 years. The income can be very good depending on the subjects you shoot. I am still primarily a nature photographer and nature does not do nearly as well as subjects such as food and people. I've made enough to pay for a few trips and camera gear so I'm happy. I have links to Shutterstock and Istockphoto.com on my gallery for anyone interested. Glad to hear you're enjoying making some money from your photos, Phillip! Good luck getting anyone else to respond. It's not a popular subject here at BP. I still give it a plug every chance I get. It's more fun and productive than entering contests, at least it is for me.
