Newspaper Freelancing What is the basic current market billing rate for freelance photographers servicing a once-a-week newspaper publication? I understand there may be many factors involved, but am curious to know what what others have charged per assignment. Again, for a small once-a-week publication. Thanks for your inputs.

Kerry, I've seen written here between $20 and $50. I just signed up with a local county paper that is put out in coordination with a neighboring daily paper twice a week and the contract I signed with them was $30 per assignment.
