displaying & selling photography Has anyone ever put their photography on display in dental/medical offices for sale? How would you go about doing something like that?? I think it would be a good idea along with restuarants and such... I just don't know the best way to get started. Advice and opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I would just go to them with the framed work so they could look at your samples and ask if they could use some Art to display. I would have a price ready and on the back or coner of the print. And you will find doors open easier if you willing to give a persentage back to them or a charity. Just a thought, Debby

I know this is an old message, but I thought I'd respond anyway. My photo club just started putting photos in a dentist's office. We just put them up this week and I don't know if we'll sell anything, but the dentist was thrilled and said the patients have made positive comments on them. One of the guys in the club just asked his dentist if the club could display photos. If you have a relationship with a dentist, doctor, bank, shop, etc. it should make it easier. Just take a couple of samples of your work or your portfolio book if you have one. Good luck!
