Fashion Photography tips? Please help.
I am doing an assignment on the ND Photography course. We're doing studio photography and need research on several areas of studio work including fashion photography. I'm struggling to find tips on fashion photography. (focal length, lighting etc.) Also tips on advertising, food and still life photography will be much appreciated. Thanks Dan

Daniel, Daniel, Daniel. I don't think anyone here is opposed to helping you out, but I gotta tell ya, I did a quick search on Goodle for "fashion photography lighting" and got...better sit down for this one. 1,560,000 hits. And you're "struggling to find tips"? Yikes !! What's the ND Photography course, btw? I think you need to start by really narrowing down your questions and avoid what we used to call the "blunderbus approach to research". Focal length for shooting what, how many, what format, what lighting? Tips for what in advertising? How bout "sell the sizzle not the steak". Still lifes? Man, do you know how many hundreds of books have been written on still life photography? C'mon Daniel. Narrow it down for us. Take it light ;>) Mark
