Paid listings in Search Engines
I was wondering if anyone has tried payed listings in Search Engines to promote their web sites and if the results were worth the cost of the listings.

I've thought about it but haven't tested the waters yet. If a good portion of your visitors pay after visiting your site, a pay-per-click system (like Google's) should do you good.

I carry an ad on Marylandinfo.com which has generated traffic to my site and a few sales.
