Lense compatibility 35mm SLR with Digital SLR
I have Nikon N80 with 50D,28-80G & 70-300G lenses. I propose to go for either Nikon D100 or D70. Can I use these lenses with these Digital SLRs?

Per http://www.nikonusa.com - D100 Compatible Lenses: 1) D-type/G-type AF Nikkor: All functions possible; 2) P-type Manual-Focus Nikkor: All functions except autofocus possible; 3) AF Nikkor other than D-type/G-type: All functions possible except 3D Matrix Metering; 4) AI-P Nikkor: All functions except 3D Matrix Metering and autofocus possible; 5) Non-CPU: Usable in [M] mode (camera’s built-in exposure meter does not work). Electronic Rangefinder usable with lens with maximum aperture of f/5.6 or faster; 6) IX-Nikkors cannot be used. I'm pretty sure the DX series lenses can also be used with the D100. D70 Compatible Lenses: 1) DX Nikkor: All functions supported; 2) Type G- or D-AF Nikkor: All functions supported; 3) Micro Nikkor 85mm F2.8D: All functions supported except some exposrue modes; 4) Other AF Nikkor (excluding lenses for F3AF): All functions supported except 3D Color Matrix Metering, i-TTL balanced Fill-Flash for digital SLR; 5) AI-P Nikkor: All functions supported except 3D Color Matrix Metering, i-TTL balanced Fill-Flash for digital SLR and autofocus; 6) Non-CPU: Can be used in exposure mode M, but exposure meter does not function; electronic range finder can be used if maximum aperture is f/5.6 or faster; 7) IX Nikkor Lenses cannot be used.
