How to program my Canon Rebel for TIFF

I have a Digital Canon Rebel EOS, I can only choose to capture a picture and store it as a RAW file or a JPEG file. I know that the JPEG file reduces the amount of pixels. I do have my camera set to capture/store as LARGE FORMAT FILE, but the end result is still'JPEG'Is there something I am missing when I read the manual?

  Greetings,

The Digital Rebel only has the JPG and RAW formats. To get to TIFF you will need to save as RAW and then use the software that comes with the camera or Photoshop to convert the RAW file to TIFF.

Hope this helps,
Robert

Is this the same for the EOS 20D?

  Peggy,

I would believe this to be the same for the 20D, although I don't have the 20D. If it doesn't have the option for TIFF on the camera, then to get to TIFF you will need to do the same thing, RAW then convert on the computer.

Good Luck!
Robert
