I bought one of these lenses for my A1 and T90 a couple of months ago from E-Bay. I have yet to see the results from the T90 pictures, but I have used this lens on my Canon 350 Digital via an adapter, I took pics of a green woodpecker in a tree some 200 yards away. I rested the camera on a post, used a shutter speed of about 1/300 at 5.6 because of the poor October light, with the lens set at 500mm, but I got good results, not pin sharp, but good enough. I would expect the T90 results to be excellent. This is my first Series 1 lens and I am very impressed with it, more so since I did not pay a lot for it. If you can get one for a low price, get it, you won`t be dissapointed.

Think it was closer than 200 yards.

Gabriel, I have not used this specific lens, but I have, over the eyars, purchased three or four new lenses for use with Minolta MD-mount camera bodies I have had and they were always of good quality. If you get one used, make sure you get it from a reputable source. I have only gotten one bum lens from eBay in about twenty tries. And that one was replaced by a customer service oriented seller. So, I would say, yeah. Go with the Vivitar. Thank you.

Oops, quite right Gregory, that should have been 200 feet.
