Monthly themes I just don’t get why we cannot get the monthly themes in time for the 1st of the month...does this frustrate anyone else?

Aren't the basic categories the same month to month and only 3 or 4 of those categories have (as I call it) an additional challenge theme? Everyone complains the categories aren't posted before the 1st of the month, yet they are basically always the same -- Nature, Flowers, People, Animals, etc? There are 30 chances to post (except in February) so why the big worry? I went back to see the categories in 2010 and sure enough, Nature, Flowers, People, Animals ... I'd be more concerned with a post of new month themes if the themes actually did completely change month-to-month. Just my opinion.

Yes, each month the themes are basically the same, but if your photo for this month doesn't match the specific description, then you're wasting your time. For example, this month Travel/Place is Charming Places, Still Life/Flowers is Red/Green, Details/Macro is Instruments/Music, and Man-Made is Ornaments/Decoration. People like to know the specifics before they enter. I liked it better when the broad categories were just the broad categories, without the specific restrictions.
