I think they'll make a regular comeback, hoping anyway ... I miss them too, but somehow I think they were glitching the new system. Not exactly sure "how" they might be glitching I'm not a programmer by any stretch, but that has to be one possible reason why they don't show up. I think I read on the FB pages somewhere they ARE being awarded, but we don't see them in the present evolution of the site refit. I can't see Jim pulling them without making some sort of announcement, right?

Hi Tammy, I hear what you're saying. I think the hardest part is the waiting and wondering what happened, what's happening, etc. I think part of our chemistry as photographers is the part that needs us to understand why things are the way they are and when that isn't clear, it's definitely unsettling and we strive to sharpen the image.

Well, it appears Jim is trying to remedy this issue. A few minutes ago all ep’s that had been showing has disappeared, and the site overall is moving slower than molasses in January, so something must be happening behind the scene. Hopefully soon.....

The most frustrating thing is we are not informed why these things are happening and if and when they are going to be fixed. Thirty seconds is all it would take for Jim to say yes they are coming back or no they are not coming back.

Jim actually has stated several times editors picks would be back. I’m not any happier than anyone else that we are still not seeing them, but I have to believe they will be back at some point in time. I can tell you from personal experience there have been spam accounts popping up on better photo, and I think they are a higher priority then editors picks. I have no idea how much time it requires to remove these accounts, but there is that much time taken away from getting the site back to a more normal status.
