If nothing else....you could enter it in Catch All (Monthly Theme). If he drove it into town, and you were "on the street" when you took the shot, I would think Street Photography (People) is also appropriate.

Up to 10th for me but I must say it's very disconcerting to see the new sub-themes on the old images . . . so a photo of a bird now shows "Bugs". I have suggested in other threads that you put the full category on your image when you upload and it's quite obvious to me that I will need to be vigilant about that or I'll get completely confused. I am also wondering whether the April EP's reflect the April sub-themes - but there's no real way that I can see to determine that.

I feel ya, Nikki. I am very confused about the new monthly (theme) Categories! I thought for March that the entries for "Animals" were ALL supposed to be "Birds" for that category (for example). And yet, when I looked at the 2nd Place winners, some were dogs and one was a lion! They were great images, but were not birds. Are the new monthly theme categories merely "suggestions" for any particular category?

No, the special themes didn't kick in until April 1, Cary, so the March winners should have much variety. It's the April Finalists and Winners that should be all Birds for Animals, for example. The problem is that at least so far there doesn't seem to be any programing in place that switches the sub themes AND those sub-themes show for March when they weren't even in play.

Thanks Nikki. I was confused and just assumed that THAT aspect of the website programming would be in place when the "new" monthly categories went into effect. A new visitor to the site would certainly be confused/amazed if they looked at the March Winners for each listed category!

26 out of 30 but one was a mistake - I re-entered a finalist from last month (operator error LOL). Two of my skips don't surprise me at all, but the other two have me scratching my head :) Well, I actually have 31 because when I put my March links in the Countdown thread, the system automatically re-entered them into the April contest. One went nowhere, so I deleted it; but the other actually got a gold. I sure hope it doesn't lose that because now it's a dog in the April birds category!
