dvd I am a mac user so am unfamiliar with how this would work. I want to play a dvd on a Dell monitor at a trade show. I have a macbook pro, but buying a monitor just for this occasion is too expensive for me right now. I can use a Dell monitor from a friend. Would I just need a dvd drive? Thanks.

I'm not a Mac user, but can't you just connect the Dell monitor to your Mac? You might need to purchase some kind of adapter.

Thanks. I never understand even the basics of computers. It's always easier than I think!

Yes, you might need to buy a special cable adapter. Look at the ports on the Dell monitor and do some research for options. It's not easy for the most techie of us, so hang in there, and be okay with having to return a first try that ends up not working. I use a Dell monitor with one of my Macbooks and had to just get a cable adapter that plugged into my Mac and the VGA port on the monitor. Best of success to you!
