Contest re-entries? If you know you have a really good image but it doesn't win in a given month, is it likely it might win or become a finalist if it's re-entered in future months? Or if it doesn't place when first entered, it is highly unlikely to do so later? Thank you.

Many people have had success re-entering a really good image, in a later contest month. It used to be (and may still be) that the silent judges in the contest, changed from month to month, among the various instructors... so different people evaluated the images each month, meaning you very much could have a chance in another month, with different eyes looking over the entries...

I resubmit regularly - on an average of 5-6 a month - often straight from my member center. I have had an excellent success ratio on resubs and have had images that didn't even get an EP first time around go all the way to Finalist or higher. If you feel strongly about an image, by all means give it another go (or two or three . . . )

I do the same as Nikki; resubmit the ones I like. I've gotten finalists on photos that never got an EP the first time. I've seen a Grand prize that was a resubmit. Judging is subjective; when in doubt, resubmit. There's nothing to lose.

There have been many finalists, winners, and even a GP that was a third time resubmit. Most of us resubmit regularly.
