Why can't Kodak processing do better at processing Why can't Wal*Mart do a better job of processing Fugi film. It always comes out a light blue color, and no other colors. We have several rolls that this was done to. We cannot find any processsing place other than Kodak processing places. Help? I live in Yuma, AZ, but am up in Lakeside, AZ at the present time. If you use my email address, I can get it through the library in Pinetop. We have three rolls that need processing, but are afraid to take them anywhere. Eldon & Karen Eskew

??? All the Wal-Marts and Sam's Clubs in my area (IL/WI/IN) use Fuji labs. For prints I always use Kodak Premium processing through the local Target. I have had them develop and print Fuji film with no problems. (1) If your prints all have a blue cast is it possible you may have had an 80A filter on the lens? (2) If you are at altitude, UV rays will have a greater effect on film. Do you use a UV or skylight filter? (3) Regardless of 1, or 2, the printer should be able to correct the color balance in your prints. Ask to have them redone to your satisfaction.

Alot of times this happens when labs use chemicals that are too warm so that they can develop them faster due to the amount of film they get in.

Hi Karen, some one hour photo labs, not all, do not do any color corrections and give their customers the first run prints. If you truly want to get good color with your prints, my suggestion would be to call all the photo labs in your town and find out if the color correct or density correct.
