Size of digital files for pictures I've just started scanning transparancies. If a would like to produce a top quality picture at what resolution should I be looking and if I want to output A4 what typical file size should I expect. I've tried scanning in at 1200dpi, when I enlarge to A4 my file sizes are 250MB+. This seems over the top. Any advice.
