Dark Edges on Picture When I take pictures with my camera, the pictures turn out darker around the edges (almost like a shadow). This occurs whether I am inside, outside, good lighting or poor lighting. What could cause this and how do I correct it?

This a recent problem, or something that's always been. My first thought is a low quality lens, maybe plastic instead of glass, that refracts the light at the edges too much.
