Empty or half-full metal bins like this are particularly susceptible to a weather phenomenon known as a straight line wind. When full, their round shape is placed in tension and the load pushes outward; they are very strong. However, a forceful straight line wind pushes in on one side and pulls out in the other directions, twisting and distorting the structures. This is a photo, not an A I generated image.
