Houck Covered Bridge
Houck Covered Bridge built in 1880 over the Big Walnut Creek in Putnam County. The
Houck family owed the land around where the bridge was built. Northeast of the bridge
is the Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery, at the top of the hill. This is the final resting place of
Daniel Boone’s sister and sister-in-law, the wife of Squire Boone
