We had lots of these in every color growing up and my brother even caught one in the wild with his sweater one day and brought it home! We loved them a lot! TONS OF NOISE and each kid carried a bird around most of the time!!! When we had like 4 or 5 at once the house got pretty exciting and loud, but they were all so special. When one would pass away we'd make a wooden cross for it and had a little graveyard area in our back yard. We learned young how to respect the honor the dead. For our hamsters, too. Belated CONGRATULATIONS! for this beautiful Finalist, Kiki! Terrific lighting and clarity. I used to stop at a pet store on the way home from school, to wiggle my fingers through the cage at all the gorgeous parakeets (budgies). Guess they were either too polite or too scared to bite me! Never owned one. Lucky you!
