Amazing Laura, My first thought was that they had people dressed in period costumes for the tourist. Well done for sure.

Good Morning Doug, Little Sister Maria, Jeff, Michelle, Ron, Tammy and Monnie!

Thank you all for your super comments. Your kind remarks inspire me to try my best. :)

Ron, all the employees at Heritage Park MUST dress in theme costumes so you are partly VERY ACCURATE. :D

I felt the two men there dressed in today clothing really took away from it so was thrilled when the smudge tool allowed me to lift the guys hair up, and drag the dark colors around to make him look like a woman! HA! You should have seen me sitting here smiling as I watched the change! HeeHee!

Monnie, that sure does look like a church doesn't it? Or even a school house but guess what? It is CITY HALL! Who knew. Maybe they had bells in case they needed to call the town together?

I have a little book that tells me a lot about the Park plus google. :)

Thank you again.
-Laura

Hey John! Yep! It sure is! :))) I thought...Humm...Why not just try and see if I can make those jeans into a dress?! HA! Glad I did try! The HAIR was a fun bonus and I think I even gave him a mink fur collar! HeeHee!

Thanks Julianne! :D I had hoped that angle would give the image more interest! Glad you think so!

*

Wow. Thanks Paddy! :))) You're so sweet to me. You never miss a detail.

HA! Thanks Miss Kitty! It was fun to shoot and to do the DDR on. A last minute decision for me. I am so very sorry about your nieces passing. You have been in my heart all day. Yes. She was awesome. And so brave and such a great example for the rest of us.

Thank you all for the visit. :)

Good morning Sherran. Yes! I see what you mean. Totally. I never made it to Skagway but I was as far as Sitka and it sure does look similar. I'll never forget how freezing cold & clear the water was there. Looking down 15 feet and seeing sea life! Unreal!

*

Hi Dick! So glad that you think so! :D

Mornin' Mr. Tree! This was fun to shoot!

THANK YOU ALL FOR VISITING and FOR YOUR COMMENTS!

Hi Wm. Do you mean it COULD HAVE BEEN IN COLOR? I need to get new glasses. The sign said Pleasantville. I dont think those two kids have arrived there yet? (Only Movie Buffs Will Get That Joke)...

*

Hi SSSis! Fun hey??? HeeHee...Gotta love DDR.

*

Steve, Heritage Park is a highlight around the city here. It's the best kept secret ever. I love it so much there. You guys would, too. Next time I would bring less gear with me however. Too much camera stuff that I didn't need or use. Lots to lug around 32 acres.

Thanks all! :) Enjoyed your visits!
-(SSS)Laura

P.S. Someone asked if we can indeed ride the steam train. The answer is YOU BET! And it is a TOTAL highlight! Fun to take it all the way around the park when you first get there OR decide where to get off as you ride it.
