I live in Lompoc, CA., just a few miles north of Santa Barbara, with my elderly dad. I am retired from the Navy and was a federal officer for about 9 years. I resigned and came home to take care of my dad. I have been interested in photography all my life but it's just been about 1 1/2 years that I have been taking photography a lot more seriously. I love animals and nature and find both to be great subjects. I have learned so much from the comments and encouragement of the other members on this site as well as my dad and friends. Also, Jim Miotke's book on digital photography was probably one of the best tools I invested in. I hope you enjoy your journey thru my gallery! Lynn
